Today i went around to look for offline tailors around FESTAC to advertise my product wasamar to them well i found this tailor on getting to his shop, He make traditional attires for men, I introduced wasamar to him and the benefit to his business but he told me something that was interesting and it is the reason for this post “I don't share my creative styles online or any fashion magazine, my customers do not like me disclosing the styles to avoid replica in the market”. He did not allow me to discuss more about why he does not like to share his creative styles to the internet but after i left within me i was reasoning.

WHAT MIGHT BE SOME OF HIS REASONS

Privacy: A fashion designer who designs his own styles and makes them for their customers will not like to disclose these styles to the public, some customers will not like to see a style they have made and notice that that style is common.

Competition: He might not want his styles to be copied by other tailors around and use it to serve some of his customers too.

What do you think might be some of their reasons add them at the comments section below.

Well arguing to these reasons of this tailor, I will say when he make these attires for his customers will they not wear it to an event? will people not take photos of them and show them to their tailors to make that particular style? or fashion magazine photographers who takes photos of attendees of event to place them on their magazines… What do you think?

WHY SHARE MY CREATIVE STYLES ONLINE?

Get more customers: Once you have made your attires for your customers and place them on your collection of styles online, your customer base is open to the world, not just where your business is located.

Build your brand: Once you have a collection of styles your customers will know you for your type of designs and works there by building your brand.

What you do think tailors can gain by adding their styles online, add them at the comments section below.
